Jason D’Amato
President
Stanford Capital Management

Jason D’Amato serves as President and directs global investment within the Stanford Investment Philosophy for Stanford Capital Management. Mr. D’Amato oversees and assists in the development of the overall Stanford Capital Management investment process and team. He also manages the alternative and non-correlated assets of Stanford Capital Management. He is instrumental in the overall asset allocation and engineering of traditional and non-traditional asset blends for Stanford Capital Management investment accounts. Mr. D’Amato brings nearly 10 years of experience in the financial services industry to Stanford. He has worked with Morgan Stanley and a California-based consulting firm specializing in private placements and structured alternatives.

Julius Barnes
Portfolio Manager
Stanford Capital Management

Julius Barnes serves as Portfolio Manager at Stanford Capital Management and is focused on managing the traditional investments such as equities and fixed income portions of the asset allocations. Mr. Barnes works with and manages Stanford Capital Management’s investment analysts. He also oversees and contributes to the ongoing research of investment instruments and the investment process. Mr. Barnes has worked to develop and refine many of the relative value and screening of traditional asset classes and managers. Prior to joining Stanford, Mr. Barnes worked as an analyst for AXA Advisors, where he evaluated and recommended mutual funds and stocks for client portfolios.

Ken Johnson
Risk Manager
Stanford Capital Management

Ken Johnson serves as Risk Manager for Stanford Capital Management and leads the identifying, quantifying and measuring of all risks and attribution associated with new and existing investments within Stanford Capital Management. He is also involved with the analysis of risk exposures inherent to department procedures. Mr. Johnson and his team of risk analysts work to manage the risk of both the traditional and non-traditional assets within all accounts. Mr. Johnson brings nearly 20 years of experience to Stanford. Prior to joining the company, he worked with WestLB Asset Management and AIM Management.

Zach Penny
Trader
Stanford Capital Management

Zach serves as Head Trader for Stanford Capital Management. Mr. Penny and his trading team are responsible for all daily trade management and client account allocation. He and his team execute all global trades in traditional and non-traditional investments for both individual accounts as well as all partnerships for Stanford Capital Management.

Mark Stys
Executive Vice President
Stanford Capital Management

Mark Stys serves as Executive Vice President at Stanford Capital Management and oversees investing and product development, as well as the implementation of strategic initiatives within the firm. Before joining Stanford, he worked with Fidelity Investments, most recently as Vice President of Product Development for the company’s Investment Advisor Group. He also worked as a bond trader and, subsequently, in fixed-income and strategic management for Fidelity. Other experience includes work as a partner with an alternative investment firm where he assisted numerous start-up and early-stage public companies engage private placements with institutional and accredited investor clients.

Robby Whites
Relationship Manager
Stanford Capital Management

Robby Whites joined Stanford as Junior Investment Analyst and now serves as Relationship Manager. He works closely with SCM Portfolio Management and advisors to deliver sophisticated asset allocation recommendations, build and maintain relationships with financial advisors, and create detailed Requests for Proposal and client presentations.
